The How and Why
Here at Wounded Bear we have spent countless hours continuing our Animal Behavior education and expanding that education into breeder knowledge and puppy rearing. It has been our goal to ensure we continue to stay up on the current research on optimizing canine genetics through husbandry and early sensory development. Science has shown not all puppy rearing is created equal and needs to be done through a proven plan.
Studies and science has lead the way to help optimize the genetics we choose to work with to help mold our puppies into the best family companions we can. There is nothing more important to us than to have mentally and physically sound puppies, nothing. And science has shown that work starts before puppies are born.
Our socialization programs are as thought out as our vision and goals to improve the health of the breed. We dedicate our time in using the science and technology available to us to help make the most sound breeding decisions we can.
Breeding is not for the faint of heart and mother nature can deal a bad hand but we choose to stack our cards in our favor for success. We are an Avidog associate breeder and continue to follow the ongoing publications and studies being put out by scientists and experts in this field. We also have found some good husbandry and socialization in the Puppy Culture program that we have incorporated into our plans.
I appreciate the focus on temperament and structure. Well rounded dogs with titles on both ends.
